Build #016 is now live!


I almost thought I was done with Build #016 about a week and a half ago, until I did some testing with my friend and discovered a slew of bugs to fix! I’m trying my best to get this build out on the Windows Store since Build #013 is still stuck on there. We may have to deal with default Unity icons until I can get my Visual Studio problems sorted out, but for now, let’s get it out on Standalone.

What’s new in Build #016:

  • Added a healthbar above bots and players

  • If you managed to get shoved into the void, you respawn

  • Now, when you respawn, you have to wait 5 seconds before deploying

  • Added locale support for Spanish and Chinese (Simplified)

  • Fixed a bug where you couldn’t change your language

  • Ladder colliders no longer block your bullets

  • Fixed the famed “Invisible Body Syndrome” bug

  • Connection failures now actually show up

  • If you try to play without a username, instead of doing nothing, it attempts to connect as “Player”

  • Default quality setting is now Medium

  • When you vanish (die), you drop a “ClassBag”, a bag that can be picked up with the class you had and replenish ammo

  • Bots are actually synced for real this time

  • Changed MP5 funnysound to Pop

  • Fixed vanish and join messages no longer appearing

  • If there are special announcements they will appear in the main menu at the top in English

Also, before you send a bug report, make sure you are running the latest build version! You can check in the upper left corner anytime while playing. If nothing is there, you are most definitely not on the latest build.
Before you send one saying the game is super laggy, go to options and turn down your quality settings! We got a bug report last week saying it was laggy, stats showed 10 FPS, and the quality was set to Ultra, which made sense for the hardware.
