Aye, Marx back again with a new post

I just decided I'm gonna do it today

These where made before the Jokesters Games where a thing btw. But anyways here we go lol

Just as a reminder, these where all made back in 2023

Project: Jester

This game was gonna be a full remake and retake on ONAM2008's with better gameplay and graphics.

Basically you are a security guard who is looking over a storage building, but your not alone, as melted clay creatures are out to get you.

here is what I have to show

Characters in the game are

Mason (Green Marx)

Sam (White Ghost Like Creature but is not really a ghost)

Jason (Yellow Marx)

Jamson (Red guy who is all 3 merged)

The Clown (White and Pink Marx)

Here are these 2 fellas

On the Left we have the Animatronic Mason who was suppose to be the animatronic for a horror attraction based on the tales of the creatures you face of in the game, and on the right we have Shadow, and yes. Before he was in the Jokesters Series. He was gonna appear in this game as a Custom Night exclusive.

These 2 designs would later be repurposed for the V1 designs of Mason and Shadow in the Jokesters series.

Here are some CN icons for the characters, some of them being classic versions of Mason and Recolor

and now lets talk about the ending of this cancelled game.

Once you faced of Jamson in a cutscene you burn him and have to hide when Mason escapes from Jamson all melted up.

You try to run away from him and hide in a secret room that was mysterious up until that point. Once inside, you discover the truth about the Clay creatures

You find out that there where many failed attempt's creating failed creatures, there is a not one the floor that says the following.

and then Mason enters the area, he tries to attack you. But he is dragged into the fire by Jamson, being burned and Killed.

The inspiration for the Living Clay Creature concept was from Shed 17, as you can tell from the Creatures having human body parts merged into clay sculptures.

Development started around early 2023, but was cancelled in Late 2023

and that's pretty much it for Project Jester, Next up is....

(Okay as of me writing this I forgot to bring up the fact that originally I was gonna use the sprites but I would later update them during development)

Project: Jester (Troll Version)

Originally I wanted Project Jester to be a troll game once I stopped working on it in April of 2023, it would have make fun of the generic FNAF games you would have find on Scratch

This was also made in 2023, and Fun Fact about this one. This scrapped troll game is where BEAR originated from. Who would later be used in The Jokesters Series

I stopped the project once I finished the cutscene, and that was it for that game.

The Next game I wanna talk about is...

FNAF Game Engine

this one was made as a engine for fnaf type games on Scratch and was made to see what I have learned up till this point and it used 3D renders as its graphics

This is a model of V1 Mason I made as a easter egg for this game, and as you can tell the model is awful. (Model is now lost btw lol)

This engine would never get released, and no future updates have been made to this game once I stopped working on it.

This would later kickstart me using 3D graphics in my games.

Next one in our list is where we will have to take a trip to a certain Island......

Treasure Island Gen2/Scratch Edition (LAST TIME I WILL METION FNATI BECAUSE I RETIRED FROM MAKING CONTENT ABOUT IT)

This project was made just for fun and to imagine what TI would look like with Gen 2 models. Now this was before 6.5 was a thing, so the models that I'm gonna show here will look outdated.

As you can see the game would have a Load, Extras, and Custom Night options, and would have been a recreation of TI 2020, but on Scratch and with new models.

and finally, we have....

Project: Jester (2024)

Once I released ODATH, I felt like that I wanted to make something serious for once, and so. I revisited Project Jester and gave it a new fresh coat of paint. This game was never coded btw, I only made renders of the rooms and character and that was it.

Some things where kept, like the creatures being clay creatures, but things where changed for this version, Like new characters and new lore.

This one is the most proud of out of all of my Cancelled Projects, Ultimately Project: Jester would be cancelled as a whole. With no plans on continuing its development.

So Why Where These Projects Cancelled?

Well, its quite simple my friends, I lost interest and motivation on them, yea. I just was not interested in continuing to make them, I got some almost finished like Project: Jester (2023)

but I just was not interested in making them any future. So, I just cancelled them all together. But some things from these cancelled projects would come over into to The Jokesters Series.

Bear from the Scrapped troll game would make his appearance in the series along with Shadow, as well as V1 Mason having the same design look from the Animatronic Marx in Project Jester (2023).
