Candy Invaders Saga Parody


This game was designed for the Candyjam but I have wanted to do a space invaders game for a long time. The candy theme worked well and is a nice way to get even with them damn candies.

The game was created using the 001 game ngine in about 4 hours. Just one repeating screen with different music and faster action as you climb the ranks.

Watch out for the jellybeans. If they hit the bottom of the screen you lose health. The lemon drop has a kick ass lazer rocket and is your nemesis.

If you get to 20,000 you become the Candy God. All hail the candy God and the earth is saved.

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
