Celebrating Singapore's 50th Birthday! My Singlish Damn Power!

Hi there! As a way of celebrating the upcoming 50th birthday of Singapore (#SG50), I did a 48 hours game jam which ended on the previous night!

If you are interested to watch the game jam, it was also streamed live on TwitchTV!

What came out of the game jam is a simple game called My Singlish Damn Power! In My Singlish Damn Power!, all you have to do is to try and collect as many SG50 gift bags as possible!

While doing so, you can also attack enemies using Singlish words! Each time you collect a SG50 gift bag, you might get a different Singlish word to attack with!

If you are not from Singapore, Singlish is a Singaporean version of English! Singlish is also an informal and short / quick / convenient form of English where different words from different languages/dialects are used together!

For example, “Shiok” means “This feels damn good!” and “Pang chance leh!” means “Give me another chance”.

The controls are fairly simple too! Use WASD to move, J to jump and K to attack!

So do have fun and enjoy!

Lastly, happy 50th birthday Singapore!

I have added rewards for quests so that villagers can give you something in return for your hard work helping them. 🥳

I want to know - what's your favourite quest reward?

Updated the chest in the maze, adding sound, particles and better animation. But what's in the chest?

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

I worked so hard to get all four of them to the end safely, but then...

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!

New Teasers!
