Hello everyone!
The following news does not mean there is a new update out as of right now.
With finals and college, I haven’t had time or energy to work on this game at all. Therefore, I must say that barely anything’s been done. However, don’t fret! I’m still working on a little here and there.
If anyone is familiar with my Facebook Page, you’ll know that I’m currently working on a poster for the Dawn of the New Hour game. Alongside this, I’m working on new character art for each character. This will also replace the artwork of each character in-game in the menus and the dialogue boxes.
With the coming of the poster comes (finally) artwork of Nathan. This will in turn update his sprite in-game, too.
A new character will be introduced fairly soon, so look forward to that.
NEXT THREE UPDATES WILL INCLUDE:
Swap Meet: a new trade event in the Convention Center. This’ll allow the player to trade in four unwanted items for one new item.
Stealing: a new ability to be added to steal items from enemies.
Time Manipulation: a set of abilities added for those who can bend time. So far, two have been added to the coding: one to reverse time, and one to reverse damage.
Dynamic Visuals: the graphics of the dialogue boxes and menu will change based on your current location.
Randomized Skills: a new ability will be implemented for learning, allowing a player to use any skill or spell at random chance.
Heal Upon Level Up: Every time a character levels up, he or she will regain all their health in the process.
Talking Events: in-battle, you have the option to talk to your enemies. There are plans to make this much more detailed, from events opening to chances at gaining extra items, to even making the enemy easier to defeat or gaining an experience boost.
Daily Bonus Event: heavily under the developmental stage. Allows a player to get a bonus every day based on the real-world time of the player.
Battle Result - Graphics: a change in the design of the battle results at the end of each fight.
Invaders Mini Game - Graphics: a change in the design of the mini game located in the Convention Center.
More Locations: locked doors and barriers will be unlocked and unbarred. New areas will be able to be explored.
New Items: new items will be accessible.
New Shops: the visual design of shops will be updated dramatically. New shops will open up around the game.
