The outstanding sequel to FromLefCourt's 2022 release "Gunlocked" went live on Steam Early Access on Aug 21st, 2025. As in the previous entry your primary weapon is movement, In this sci-fi action roguelike and shmup combined, Gunlocked 2 lets you pilot and upgrade a state-of-the-art warship against endless waves of deadly aliens. Deep customization, branching paths, and tons of unlockables offer endless replayability!
The best part of the game is the deep level of customization you do on the fly during combat making sure you pick the right upgrades to fit your intended playstyle and defeat the seemingly endless enemies thrown at you, to say nothing of the difficult bosses you face as well. To give you a taste of the game in the video above I played through the tutorial mode up to the first boss where I jussssttt couldn't defeat em!
What's New in the Sequel?
