when ludd destroys the snow cannon in the first phase, he ends up transforming into his final phase where he's all bloodied. somehow i missed this despite the fact that i made an entire conditional branch to check and see if the fight's in the second phase, so that ludd has the proper transformation when he's downed.
so i just wanted to fix this bug right now, but then i remembered that i wanted to upload a quality of life update that has better sprites and some minor changes. i was initially going to wait until my brother's ready to upload Ace of Hearts on youtube before making this update, but since this bug is...well, bugging me, i'm going to just release that update alongside the bug fix.
...later. i got like 3 hours of sleep earlier and i need to take a nap.

as for the Ace of Hearts youtube upload, i was going to pair that with an upload of my own, just a short shitpost of Heart Squad Revamp, and this video would be where i announce that the game got a quality of life update.
however, i think a youtube upload of Ace of Hearts is enough of a reward for your patience, so you won't also have to wait for the update.
