Chocho The Ninja (Alpha) Is Here!!!

Long time no see… Well I’m back and it’s time for my second game here on gamejolt.
It is a platformer (side-scroller), where you play as Chocho the adorable little ninja, who has been tossed into the labyrinth of the immortals for their games and amusement. You have to help Chocho deal with enemies, lying immortals, the riddlemaster and fake portals!
Now all sounds dandy but remember I use open source graphics and my skills as programmer aren’t exactly “pro” either :P… I apologise for the slightly funky player controls.
As far as bugs go there should be many but the build should be playable to the end. Again this is alpha so don’t judge me if I’m wrong… :D
This game won’t see constant patching like my other one it will only receive bug fixes and slight improvements every now and then. The only thing I plan to do is connect the game to gamejolt api if I can, since it all read has end game stats.
GL and HF !!!

P.S. Now that I’m finally more or less done on this I will be diverting all my time to games with my own custom graphics, I feel I’ve learned a lot from these first 2 games and I am confident enough to try out. I can’t tell you much about my next project yet since I haven’t decided what it is. Expect that in next news updates.

I want to know - what's your favourite quest reward?

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
