Since Christmas is almost here, we will be launching a couple new things into the demo, and into the full game. Here is what we will be talking about in this article:

• Winter Plant

• Laser Gun

• New Level in the Demo (Demo World)

• Zomboss Claw Pincher 4000’s Destruction

First of all, we have a new plant joining us. It is the Winter Squash.

The Winter Squash acts exactly like the Squash except that he also freezes all zombies in a 3x3 radius to the zombie being squashed. It will not be available in the demo, sadly. To get it in the full game, you have to open the game during December and own the regular Squash to have the Winter Squash automatically be unlocked.

Next up, the Laser Gun. You are probably thinking “What is the laser gun? How does it fit into PvZ?”. Well the Laser Gun will be a powerup which you unlock in the 2nd Universe, around the 1-2 world where you enter the Future (similar to Far Future). You unlock in late in the world. When you unlock it, it will stay as a powerup, which doesn’t take up any powerup slots and is permanently available. You can activate it, causing you to choose a zombie to shoot. It will shoot a laser (similar to Laser Bean’s laser) and instantly kill (not bosses and etc. obviously) the target, it also causes minor damage to everything else it hits. After you use it, it take around 20-30 seconds to recharge, and has unlimited uses.

The next topic is about a new world. In the demo, the world will be called Demo World, and will include a mixture of levels (which may or may not be in the full version), to allow you to test a bunch of fun mechanics in the game. One of the levels will be the Laser Gun. Unlike the full version, where once you unlock the Laser Gun, you unlock it forever and can use it in any universe/world/level, in the demo, you can only use it in one level. In the level, there are zombies which you have to shoot. You only have a Sunflower and a Sun Pea

Finally, I am going to kill the Zomboss Claw Pincher 4000 and unlock it for you guys. I just really want to see you go up against this boss fight (once you beat it, you have to do a puzzle in a limited time, otherwise he will restart the level causing you to have to fight him again lol).
