Clarification about and Response to comments regarding "An Open Letter..."

Please do NOT harass any people or party mentioned or shown in this post.

This is likely going to be my last post regarding the FNaFb delisting / FNaFb discord situation as it's beginning to feel schitzo-y.

I'd also like to apologize for the delay between the first post and this one. I've been sick these last couple of days.

This post is being made because there are some things I feel need to be corrected and or clarified in my previous post (An Open Letter to the FNaFb discord), as well as I don't feel like clogging notification boxes with replies with "schitzo posting" like the Stardust Speedster situation.

  1. Meltedbox

When I said "He went unpunished for this shit..." I was NOT just referring to what Meltedbox said about me. I was referring to literally every other time they typed this sort of "joke" in the server.

As well as trying to point out favoritism towards figure heads in the community, and the blatant disregard of certain rules being broken without any sort of punishment or warning distributed depending on who broke them.

Regardless of whether or not Meltedbox was joking in their post about me, this comment breaks not only the first rule pre-revision (Be Respectful), but also the 4th rule of the server (No Edgy "jokes"). This type of comment and these rules need to be taken seriously, especially when minors are the primary audience that surrounds the games your server is built around. I've seen people defend Meltedbox by saying they were joking when they said what was said about me, which implies that the moderation team failed to uphold their own rules.

I should have explained my point better. The community holds it's figure heads (Devs who made games deemed to be special by "the grand council", Youtubers, and in-server let's players) in a much higher regard compared to those who don't break the mold or experiment. Case and point Ashton's self admittance to having an ego after how well and high regarded EVE was received.

2. The Implementation of a Warning System

When I made the open letter, I was not aware of any sort of warning system for anything beyond saying slurs, and given how many times Meltedbox alone broke rule 4 I went under the assumption that there wasn't a warning system.

This assumption was incorrect. There IS a warning system,

and I apologize to the moderation team for the false claim that there was no warning system in place until Sable's post.

However, I still feel as it's failed to do it's job since users such as Sable, Ralsei, Myself to a certain extent, and more have felt harassed and exiled by users from within the server,

Other people in the server also claim they've never seen the warning system be effective.

3. The Server's Rank System

This is easily the least serious thing in my post however I've seen a couple people talk about this so I'm just going to expand a bit about it here.

When I said "THAT'S A FUCKING F IN AMERICAN GRADING SYSTEMS!" That wasn't the point of me bringing it up. I brought it up as a comparison to point out how ridiculously high the standards are for fan games of a shitpost fan game. 5/10 = 50% aka middle of the road / generic = F. Not to mention that system is scuffed to begin with. As an example: iirc FNaFb2 the Remix by Ralsei was ranked either a 2/10 or a 3/10 (I don't have a screenshot of the review itself as the channel for reviews got removed)

This is a silly rank imo since it's just FNaFb2 with slightly extra steps, different skills, and a few qol changes. It barely changes anything... but that's kind of the point. The game is a remake of a mod made in 2016 for the original FNaFb2. In comparison to the original mod Ralsei's is easily the definitive way to play.

4. G H

In the open letter I used this user as an example of some of the ridiculous behavior and toxic mindset towards developers the community has developed in these last couple of years.

I could have (and 100% should have) used Ashton as the example of this, given their feelings towards both Sivelos, but the original trilogy as a whole. This would have not only fit more thematically with them being one of EVE's developers, and the infinitely high pedestal the community holds EVE in and the standards it set on every other fan game.

If I was so dead set on using this user as the primary example in my original post I definitely SHOULD have censored the name like I did for this post with any user who wasn't named in my last post.

G H, I'm sorry, if you received any sort of harassment from users who have read my post. That was not my intentions and I should have censored your name, going forward your name will be censored in said post.

I still want to community to improve and to be much more healthier for devs, and fans alike.
