CloneJamJake is less than 10 hours away.
You should be a part of it. Jake Clover is a force of freeware power. Over 40 freeware experiences. Just Google the name: Jake Clover. You’ll get a taste of how far his interactive experiences reach.
Q: Why should I participate in #CloneJamJake?
A: Because this is a great opportunity to create a work mirroring one of Game Jolt’s legendary developers. You can unabashedly make a game like one of Jake’s.
Be inspired by his style and art to make your own Clover-esque world. Don’t fret, the jam is only a weekend long. And it provides a great break from the usual Earth-turnings of our days. If you needed some inspiration, here is a selection of his creations:
This game inspires a sense of dread using very little. You obey, or you are ended. You are one of many. Some obey; the others are ended. The abrasive sounds add to the atmosphere. If you fight back, this game may never end. If you listen and obey, it will only take 5 minutes. You win by becoming defeated; you’ll never leave by defiance.
You don’t obey; you fight. Keep going. When you die, another will take your place. Bodies are stepping stones towards victory. This game is brutal. Keep running, keep gunning. You cant win; you’ll be long dead before then. The war can end though; just keep throwing beings at it. Most problems go away when you burry them in warriors. You can’t see most problems when you drown them in warriors.
Hernhand is Clover’s newest and 3D-ist adventure. Find your way around an honest environment. It is a mysterious ‘scape. Hernhand is comfortable with itself; the design is loose and the direction is real. It won’t mention high deff trying to impress; no smoke and mirrors, just a genuine space. It’ll be fine if you play, and it’ll be fine if you go elsewhere. Do what you want, Hernhand will live on.

As I treadmill’d down the sidewalk in full-on suit, an olden raking leaves turned to me: “You’ll miss the smell of autumn if you keep trekkin at that pace.” What does he know huh, I have an Augnob to death.
So now
A plethora of amazing Jake Clover games; all with interesting player-game relationships and differing moods. They usually take up less than 10 minutes to flow through, so pull out your notebook and pay attention. There won’t be a quiz, but there is a jam. It starts in less than 10 hours.
