I know, I already talked about them on L.O.E.’s website, but I wanted to talk about them here.
This is quite old now, it’s been 2 months since I added them, I guess, but it’s something I never really got into detail about.
Enough cheap talk, let’s get right into it!
Why collectables?
Collectables offer a new objective to the player. It’s also a reason to keep looking to the landscape and to enjoy the hard work I put in each level! ;-)
Once you get a collectable, it is gone for good, so you can’t get the same collectable twice.
Each level features thirteen collectables in total. Runes are not in the equations here because you can find different amounts of it per level. Their quantity is not fixed.
Let’s take a look at them!
The Logos are an in-game representation of the game’s icon. They’re one of the most common collectables, each level having five of them.
A Silver Logo is a variant of the Logo, and is a bit rarer. You can only find two of those per level, and they’re quite harder to find.
They are the last variant of the logo, and are much rarer, since you’ll only find one per level, and they’re quite harder to find/get.
Usually, they’re protected by some kind of Silver Barrier, which can only be broken with some powerful magic.
Totems are as common as Logos, but much easier to find. Also, some enemies can drop them (Champions always do), and bosses are guaranteed to NOT drop them.
They are considered as a currency by a certain merchant.
Runes are the most common, and easy to find collectables. You’ll find tons of them per level. Also, enemies have a rather high chance of dropping them. So, look out for them, because they’re also the main currency of the game.
This is it! To wrap up this post, I’ll ask you to follow me on Twitter and to follow Land Of Enchantments here on Game Jolt! Don’t forget to visit it’s website too.
