Welcome to Scratch Game Jam #1

We look forward to working with all the next generation of creators to co-create the world.

The theme of Scratch Game Jam #1 is The Sound of Play.

Sound effects are one of the most important parts of a game. Good sound effects make the players feel like they are there. We hope this will be a Game Jam Celebrating Audio in Games.

Let's take a look at submissions now.

targetingthesound

This work was created by fath11

A small game that uses sound waves to find targets.

The game maker is so clever to use Quake extension, so the glitch and shake of the target are very eye-catching.

zombie-apocalypse

This work was created by Gamer_V1nce

A shootgame with a backstory of doom and zombies. The sounds of zombies, gunshots, and bombs are particularly detailed.

🔥ROLLFIRE

This work was created by Dj8fate

In this work you are the red little man, by moving and rolling to avoid the various dangerous objects falling from the sky, the further the more difficult oh. This work can also be played online.

flappy-of-mellody

This work was created by Arwalker57

Flappy bird's classic gameplay, but I can only get a maximum of 1 point, it is too difficult.

spectrum-kill

This work was created by Ambientys

Although it looks like a clicker, but with its unique sound effects to make everything magical and joyful.

The Scratch Game Jam #1 will last until Feb 20th 0 UTC and welcome to participate and submit your work.

The treasure pool has already reached 6000 NG.

Just as Pecaminosa's musicians #improvise this rendition of #LittleSunflower 🌻, so do we improvise with this post you're reading. 😂

What's coming out of your own improvs? 🤔

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!
