Five Nights at Drakam’s: NightNothing

Completely normal quick devlog on FNaD: NightNothing (first time writing a devlog like this):


Alright, I’ve been slowly working on the game and have made some actual progress: I finally got hardwired AI working for two of the characters, Shadow Drakam and Dark Drakam. It’s working really good but it’s by far the most confusing A.I. I’ve coded for any character yet.

Feels good to get this piece of the game actually operational instead of just cams and vents. Testing’s been kinda chaotic, but honestly kinda fun.

Slowly things are lining up. Sometimes it’s messy, sometimes it actually works pretty well, but either way it’s moving forward.

Next step is getting more stuff locked in, making sure pathing works right, and finishing up the other characters A.I.s.

Still lots to overcome, but I’m trying to do as much as I can with my busy schedule.

You’ll get to see what waits when the game’s whole package finally comes together.

maybe it will take longer than October to come out, but I still want to take my time, make it good (or at least playable) and release it in a state that won’t be rushed. I’ll try to give updates on how progress is going, but don’t expect much. Thanks for reading!

Here’s a scrapped XtothaZ sprite that was meant for the FNaD Prototype. I thought it looked kinda goofy, but I reused it in FNaD: NN.

Much closer to my goal of 100 followers!

Just drew Hollow Man from my fnaf fan game FNaD: NN.

He’s the overarching antagonist of the FNaD series.

I like the concept of powerscaling from time to time but good god a ton of nerdy ass power scalers take that stuff WAY too seriously. I’ve seen one say highly offensive slurs because someone said his favourite character was stronger than theirs.

Just made the camera toggle and vent seal mechanics (code was VERY messy but it works) and I’m now making the a.i of the threat that attacks from the vents, “Shade Kade” (above). His a.i. is probably going to be more random and challenging than the rest.
