Kudos to everyone involved.
Gamejams are full of rewards apart from prizes and products.
Entertainment for the players, motivation for the makers, inspiration and innovation for many creatives who are driven to the interactive canvas.
Even those who couldn’t finish likely learned a good deal from the experience.
Give yourselves a round of applause.
Voting for #IndiesVsGamers has ended, and I’m still rather stunned by the number of entries in this one. What’s even more noteworthy is that Jupiter Hadley, prolific player of gamejam games, has managed to try every single one. You can see the complete set on Jupiter’s YouTube Channel.
It’s also great seeing devs polishing up and tweaking their games now that voting’s finished. Here are a few of my favorites that already have new versions:
Racketboy by Double Dash Studios
Loot Kid by Namoii
Super Nanny Sleepytime by Team Nanny
I look forward to taking another whack at those scoreboards!
I’ve also updated Ravens— with some physics bugfixes and a couple score tables.
