Honestly even in the old art style giving the main character a sort of coppery/late-fall leaves color feels wayyyyyyyyy fucking better- I hope it doesn't make them look too similar to Link since his is more of a bright blonde- but ya. #pixelart #aseprite

Almost a year ago I tried drawing Alex in the style I was using for 'Those Nights', one of my #indie #gamedev projects- I decided to give it another shot today to make it look a bit more like a vanilla painting :3 (pic 2/3 is the og) #minecraft #aseprite

Working on animating the top-down version- taking a lot of notes from Stardew Valley and old LoZ games obviously. I'm not sure how I feel abt it but its def better than last time I tried this perspective.
