CORPORATION REPORT: WEEK 10

Busy or not, it's same same but different

So it's been a little while! Hello again! Got a tad bit busy and never got around to writing this especially due to great leaps in many things that don't really come with many visuals...

Whoops...

I *will* however update on the things you've all missed in the past few weeks, as there have been a few things that I can show visually.

More Models + Animations to drool over!

Of course we have to mention that mysterious fella in the banner of this post... Who is it?! What will they do?! I have no clue, but have fun thinking about it, they'll be joining our Capnet Security Team soon...

NEW: Engineer

As one of our two core characters, it's about time this guy got his own look! An man was it worth the wait... JUST LOOK AT HOW COOL THIS GUY LOOKS!!

Not just that, he's even got some sick animations during deployment and such! Here's a look at his Turret Placing animation so you can look forward to next week's devlog

(NOT VERY) NEW: Behemoth

Woah, a bird, a plane? No! It's our ship!!

Unfinished, yes, a lot more rooms and spaces and details are going to be added later on as this is just the base model used in the box art render, but it's worth showing anyways since we don't plan to polish this any time soon.

More Models + Animations to drool over!

Some updates are being made to the default soldier model right now, as the artist is starting to really get the hang of the tool so they're going back to revamp the soldier (thanks Ruckus!!)

Yeah, this is done now!! And isn't it just so cool...

The Usual

Next up are some of the updates on the duller side, but nonetheless things I should mention!

Interacting with the Ship (the base)

Thanks to our new UI programmer (and of course our already present programmers) we have the functionality and UI for the ship up and running in game!

You can now repair and refuel the ship as you make progress towards completing the game! So yes, you can now complete the game :D

Map Progress - 40%

By next week this should be done! It took a while to prepare and plan where everything would go + getting used to the tools but it's beginning to come along. Soon we'll have the whole map!

Animation Speed Up Button

Players can now speed up animations if they take too long! Makes moving around a lottt faster than before :3

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed timer bug when transitioning phases

  • Fixed UI conflicts while interacting with the ship
