Just like in the Pocket Dimensional Clash 3 and Power Rangers It's Morphing Time projects, we'll have CPU CO-OP mode in Avengers United Battle Force, as it makes the game more fun to play.
It works the same way as the other projects:
- The partner has only one life
- It's a random partner for each level
- The colors are also random
- There will never be a repeat character
In this video, I only show Iron Man as a partner, but all characters may appear as partners in the final version.
Since this is a game for only 2 players, on the one hand, it will be easier to add this system because the logic is simpler. On the other hand, this project has more alternative models (weapons) that will require more work, but nothing too difficult.
It's still early in development, but the partner fights well, can use all available attacks (except dodges), and can even call in Helpers if we've picked up the item. I know that in some levels they won't work very well, like levels with platforms and lots of traps, but it's a nice addition.
