i wanted to change my nbd au lore a bit, mostly jake's history, since i wanted that both mortem and mother had some kind of connection (they are toxic yuri alright) and have some kind of 'the divine machine (mortem)' and 'the divine flesh (mother)' dinamic or something like that but the problem is the fact that mortem represents all the traumas jake has, so i decided that maybe jake just saw his dad die in a machine during work when he was little and got extremely traumatized, also he's aracnophobic so thats why is she is spider shaped, but now idk how to explain his fear to mickey mouse ughhh
