So, I just published the game page for moonwanderer here, and I thought I should announce what’s going on with it right now. Currently, moonwanderer has been in development for 1.5~2.5 months, exclusively by me. 2.5 if you count the time i was just making the engine and 1.5 if you start from the time i had the idea for this game.
I’ve been working on the game on and off in my free time due to school, but when June comes along I plan on devoting more time to this game. I also plan on getting 1-3 more people to help out, mostly on the non-programming bits. Hopefully that could speed up development and get the game out by the time I want (Winter 2015).
As the game stands right now, there’s a solid base engine but not necessarily a lot of content/assets. I plan on finishing up the engine in the next month or two, then focusing almost entirely on creating more maps, entities, tasks, music, etc (while still probably re-working the engine as I need to). When the engine is done, I should have worked some on maps and entities to have a presentable demo to upload here.
Until then, I’ll post any updates here if anything major happens. I might also make a development blog sometime later, I’ll link to it if that happens. Thanks for spending the time to read this and check out moonwanderer!
