We don’t have many, but this is one of the main story points in the game which happens a little later in the game. Once you’ve settled in and we throw some new game mechanics your way.
You and Phil happen to find this anomaly nearby. It’s a strange and ancient structure. Yet highly advanced. Phil your companion is enamoured with it and just can’t resist seeing it up close. Phil touches it and the whole structure erupts. Corrupting him. He attacks you, and the simulation resets… Phil doesn’t remember a thing and thinks everything is normal.
From this point on, the game will spawn the corruption at your colonies. It will try to set your progress back. You need to use your Core’s nanites to fight it off. Otherwise it can have very negative effects on your economy and well being.
Its origins are unknown. Maybe there are more clues to find else where on Fortuna. There are many other mysteries.

We’re nearing the completion of a fully playable game which we plan on releasing sometime this month. We’re just testing the final parts of the game now + the ending.
