While you hold out on a full devlog here's some GIFs of Day 1 Progress!
I've been taking note of all the bugs and issues people had with the jam game. A lot of these bugs have been or are being taken care of now!
A few things that I've fixed so far:
- Wallsliding is less weird and should feel better
- Double Jumping is 100% a double jump no matter when you do the second jump
- Hitbox sizing is now more appropriate
- Health for NPCs (includes monsters) and the player are also more balanced. A slime doesn't take a bunch of hits. Plus there is hurt animations and sound on top of a death one.
