Scendora Studios Presents: The untold tale of Darlock’s great history continues! This article, taken directly from the Darlock Encyclopedia, entails of Darlocks first cataclysm that took the world by surprise. An evil unrealized unleashes a darkness only preventable through the Legend himself.
Not all people hated the Forgotten. Realizing how much the Forgotten truly did care, and how much power the Forgotten actually had over all lands, Some people preferred the Forgotten over the Elementals. The Elementals were only spoken of by the Gods, different Gods saying different things about them. So it was common of the people to find Gods more intriguing. A special “religion” was created to commemorate the Forgotten’s hard work. The Forgotten hid the religion from the Elementals for he knew of their jealous wrath.
The religion created to worship the Forgotten was named Inferous Amydu`. Creatures of this religion were to build tall towers in sacrifice of time and resources. These towers would most times fall killing many men and women. The tower of Crypt’Lu’Bou was established in what is now known as Cryptfarrow. This tower was tall enough to cast shadows over the surrounding bodies of ocean. People would climb to the top of the tower with a single drop of water at the peak of their religious practices. With this droplet of water, they were to let loose of it, aiming at the fountain of Inferous. Once the droplet struck the pool, it glew a magnificent blue, green and purple. Masses of people began to follow in this religion which created some attention from the Elementals. The Forgotten was very sneaky in his lies until one creature made a very special prayer.
Kayl Lu’mutu was born into a blizzard. In intense conditions, Lulu Lu’mutu prayed to a God most people had forgotten about. She prayed to the Legend, who was locked in the core of Darlock at the time, that her baby could be saved. The Legend heard her call and casted in his warmth to protect baby Kayl. When the baby was saved, the Forgotten took notice. The Forgotten then took it in his own hands to destroy this baby.
Kayl Lu’mutu was a bright young human who studied into the psychic tactical class. At age eight he was the brightest student in his course.By this time the Forgotten was full on the move to tell the Elementals of the Legend’s chioce to save Kayl. The Elementals listened to the Forgotten, though they allowed the child to live on ignorant to the potential power Kayl had. The Forgotten felt ignored by this. Feeling that the Elementals were not paying enough attention to Darlock. The Forgotten felt he needed to do something drastic. He left into the Galaxy to gather terror. Though before he fled, the Forgotten made a special visit to the Legend trapped in the core of Darlock. The Forgotten told of his plans to destroy the world in fire. The Legend felt helpless for he knew all too well of his imprisonment. The Legend was forced to allow the Cataclysm.
The Forgotten went to the Fifth Source. A hidden part of the galaxy where a large power star sat dormant. This star was named Haumoh. Lighting the star, the Forgotten hurdled it towards Darlock. As the star approached, the skies turned orange and purple. By the time the Elementals took notice it was too late. Only the Legend held the power to stop the cataclysm. Kayl used his psychic teachings to pray deep into Darlocks core to the Legend which allowed the Legend to resurface. Right as the star was about to tear Darlock apart, the Legend surfaced lifting his right hand to catch the doom. Upon collision the whole world was overcome by a thick black smoke. For three days and two nights, the smoke covered the lands and oceans. Then on the third afternoon the smoke cleared, and the world was calm. Many men and women of many different races were destroyed. The lands that were once connected scattered to many different Isles. Darlock would never be the same.
