Day 36 | Mood Swings


Over the past two days I’ve developed both a new loathing and appreciation for pixel art. The first being the fact that Silver’s sprite was an absolute nuisance which took me twice as long because of his damn cape.

Seriously the stupid shading on the bloody thing made me hate pixel art so much. Not just that but it proved troublesome when putting it into the game as a few rogue pixels kept appearing in a few frames.

Though that has been finally rectified which is why I’ve now gained a new respect for those who can stomach this sometimes nightmarish hobby. But the work shall continue in a few days as tomorrow I’m heading to France and absolutely no creative work will be done for those four days (probably five in the end for a rest ^-^’)

But hopefully this hen do will recharge my batteries so I’ll come back to this project with even more motivation to make it awesome! See yous all then :D

Next up

Things are progressing nicely in terms of me getting back into the actual game making. Mark's explanatory livestream yesterday was most enlightening and shall prove useful when adding the events of Damien into the game. Until then here's pixel Actor Mark!
