Movement controls are pretty much there now, simple running, jumping and wall jumping.
More gameplay elements are slowly being put into place, I have a simple turret that keeps firing at the player and a simple losing condition implemented. The aforementioned rule goes like this: as with any action hero, he never gets hit by the enemy if he’s always moving. The bullets damage the scenario, by the way. And the final version enemy won’t be much more sophisticated than that, they will get knocked out by things falling on their heads and the player can knock them out by raming into them as well, but that will be it.

That was day 4. Today, day 5 I think, I made the player model, together with normal and color maps, rig and skin. What a royal pain in the ass, I think the enemies are going to be cylinders with a machine gun on top, to save me the trouble. Nah, I’m just kidding :P Anyway, here he is:
He’s faceless for a reason. The whole game is an exxageration of the action movie genre, and I want to go a step further and randomize the player’s appearance, so each play session you control a John/Jack/Zack/etc Snyder/Reaper/Bond/etc. But that’s probably not for the timeline of the contest.
