DBomb 0.7.0 Space! Update is out!


After almost two years, the next DBomb update, titled "Space!" is finally here, and it even has a trailer!

This update brings...

Plenty of new creative maps,

Several new customizable tiles:

  • Light

  • Breakable

  • Laser Barrier

  • Corner Slope

  • Laser Emitter

  • Laser Relay

  • Laser Receiver

  • Laser Mirror

  • Script Tile

New editor features:

  • New Space map theme

  • Map descriptions

  • More convenient camera offsets editor with realtime preview

  • Custom Sudden Death option

  • Lua scripting which interoperates with the Trigger system, along with an entire API

New gameplay features:

  • Darkness advanced option

New trigger actions:

  • Teleport Players

  • Set Tile

  • Set Tile Height

  • Call Script Function

  • Set Script Variable

  • Award Win

  • End Round

  • Launch Players

Main Menu improvements:

  • Themes

  • Mapset icons

  • Details pane for maps

  • Previews for built in maps on mouse hover

  • Player skin preview in the customize button

New mapsets:

  • Special for maps that change the rules of the game and are their own gamemodes in a way

  • FPS for maps designed to be played in FPS gamemode

And also plenty of bug fixes and smaller additions.
