Happy new year, everyone! Just like how SRA2 was revealed in this month last year, I'm here now to announce a major update for the game:
SuperRhys217's Rushed Adventure 2 -Final Mix-

(Very creative title, I know.)
This update is set to overhaul many of the game's features with quality-of-life improvements and new additions, to hopefully turn the game from "decent but not that noteworthy" to something truly special, where even people who aren't into this sort of stuff can enjoy it to some extent.
I do understand that seems like a bold statement to make (especially for a game titled SuperRhys217's Rushed Adventure 2), but even in the base game you can tell that I genuinely wanted SRA2 to be an enjoyable thing to play, and with this update I want to attempt to mitigate its issues while also making sure to keep its identity as your "average" SM64 Machinima game.
So, what's new?
As I'm writing this, there has been over 50 changes to the main game, big and small, a few of which you can find over on my Twitter. Here's a few images, showing a new ATB bar and the Level Up screen.

Battles have received the most attention in this update thus far. I'll list a couple of changes here: The LUK stat now affects Critical Rate, a few Skills have been reworked (such as Fire and Poison Powder), and ATB charge speeds have been doubled. There is also a new Pre-emptive strike system, where you can get a head start in battle if you catch an enemy off-guard, as shown here.
Outside of battles, most changes to the game have been simple visual changes or QoL improvements (including removed Jump Pad start-up lag and the ability to view the Enemy List at any time through the menu). But what about the NEW stuff?
Well, I won't reveal too much, but I can confirm that there will be few new enemies, bosses, and a brand-new location. Plus, a new type of equipment called Shards!

Oh, yeah, I can't forget. This update also contains something that's unlike anything you've seen from me before. It'll be separate from SRA2 FM entirely. Whether it'll actually be released alongside Final Mix or in a later update has yet to be seen. Either way, I'll leave you with this image.

More details to come!
