Hello there you amazing people!
After several hours of conversion and fixing outdated code, Survive at Home have finally been successfully converted to Unity 5.
As written in the updates in the forum at 3gvice.com, i have been working constantly with the game which have provided me with errors and solutions.
That means there isn’t much i really can provide of info for you the follower of my game.
However!
Since i now successfully got the game converted to Unity 5, there will be tons of planned features coming to the game as i originally planned them to be.
Already i have made the skybox of the game rotate so the clouds seem more real.
Makes the game come a little bit more to life
Some tweeks on effects have reduced the current lag issues as well.
Additionally the center-cursor issue have a final solution on the way!
Pets are coming slowly and being activated one by one.
Sandwich maker contains more sandwiches.
Will try to make animations”global” for eating food.
The only “bad” thing i noticed in the conversion (so far) is that the new shader for fur i had for the new dog model, does not work anymore.
replaced with textures as a temporary fix
Now that the game is back on track with a new engine with power, i will be focusing on the next testing round. I need to prepare the game and build the current version before i begin picking out people for the testing. Already have “accepted” a lot but they don’t know it yet. Everyone will recieve an email at the same time when the testinground is ready. Thank you all for waiting this long and still supporting the game.that goes for all of you guys
I don’t have more to say right now, hopefully you still have interest in the game.
I have added a picture(gif) below where you can see the skybox rotate ingame.
Sorry for slow framerate(i prefer videos)
Until next time, take care!
