Hello there you awesome people!
I know it’s been a while since you guys got any updates on the development.
As usual, time is the evil behind it all.
However, i have now found a small window to work on the game at least a tiny bit more than before.
I will try to not ramble on too much this time. ‘I swear! It’s hard not to!’
Instead of the usual ramble, i’ll try answering some questions.
(May contain long answers)
What’s been done since last time?
Well a lot actually for once!
Right now i(3gvice) are creating more jobs and homes so the first EARLY demo can come out as promised!
Been working close with some of the team members of 3gviceStudios to find glitches and bugs, fixed a lot of minor issues.
There are also being done some major changes to the “Historical-story mode”.
Changing the approach on the mode and the presentation.
Slowly changing the name of the mode to “Adventure mode”.
What jobs will be available in the demo?
I am currently working on one of the scientist jobs(the lab).
|- Not all the content of this job will be available in the demo, sorry but this will require a lot of work to complete as planned!I am also working on a hotel scene with several job opportunities.
When will the demo come out?
As promised i have been trying to get it out in the first couple of months of 2017.
There might be a small dela..
DELAY?!?! I hear you say?Yes, and i don’t mean several months this time, again i swear!
My reply to the raging public is that i only want the game to work as smoothly as i can in the early stages.
It have taken me 2 years to get where the game is today, 1 year to learn everything.
Please give me some slack, i am working fulltime in my private life outside the development.
On top of all this, i just want the game to have some content!
So again, please just hold your horses and wait a little longer, i work extremly hard on this game!
Ok, so what about the testing round 7?
I have gotten some applications so far, the testing round WILL come before the demo.
The testing round will smooth things over even more for the first demo version.
Those who have been accepted/rejected do not know yet.
It will happen once i am done with the two job scenes, fixed the final camera bugs and gotten a ‘unique’ feature up and running.
So..with the DELAY of the demo…do you have any idea of the game’s release?
(Hey, it’s only a slight delay!)
No, i do not.
I wish i could tell you, but i don’t know myself!
I DO want to finish the game before this year ends, if we slide into 2018, well that will happen as well.
I care for this game, i want to see it finished the way i want it to be.
NOTE
Now that i have explaind all this, i will completely ignore any comments asking/demanding the release of the game!
Have any more questions?
Please send me an email and ask away!

Now, if you are one of those who waits for more pictures…
You are in luck!
I have 10 pictures for you this time, new content!
This scene is of course a work in progress!
As shown, the NPC is in default pose. Not a functional scene yet.(Also, yes by pressing F1 at the moment you can get the cursor centered)
You get to work with several projects, each day you do improvements and test out the projects further.
More projects and NPC’s coming with time, again it is a work in progress.
Trying out more friendlier environment(Yes, testing out some unity assets as well to make things easier)
Why can you suddenly walk outside? Well it is where you pick up the guests bags in one of the jobs.
The hotel name is of course up for debate, again work in progress.
You can carry up to two bags at the time in one of the jobs, weight and player speed are added as factors.
There will be different bags(and color) for the guests, make sure the right ones goes to the right rooms.
This is the current version of the “now adventure mode” timeline.
I have added 2015 and a new house which will be available in the demo.
Yes, there will be more homes to survive in :)
At last, a new set of food coming to the game!
As always, hope you enjoyed the development update and hopefully can excuse my rambling words!
Until next time, take care!
