Developement - Design - code hint & tip


Today at college our dear professor reviewed some basics of programming algorythms. and i realized i started my game project without that sharp plan. but i’m doing good since i know what i’m doing and i did some clear concept art and plan for the project. but i wanna try that algorythm and flowchart too practicing on remaking other games.

The award and wave bugs are finally gone becuase i finally figured out my way with round(random(x))+1 code. if i have x items, when i wanna use this code i gotta insert x-1. so even if the random choses 0, i will have a 1 number!

Another thing is the tutorial design. i’m thinkin about a simple and short passage about keys and how to play. plus a few new enemy types that i planeed to do. ALSO yesterday i randomely sketched a not so fancy flower on a hill for background design that i’m gonna add.

There’s an issue too, i gotta find a way to resize my rooms on game maker studio. i set same width and height for all the rooms. but when i change one of them the window won’t resize. it’s strange because earlier game makers didn’t react this way.

Overall i think today work was good and graphics qualities are improved.
