Developer Update, January 9, 2019


Hello again all! Today I come to you with some exciting new designs and concept art to share!

For the past few days, we’ve been hard at work on making sure the monsters are as scary and eerie as they can be.

Here’s concept art of the djinn, Lust.

We also have a female version of Lust that we’re working on.

We’re having tons of fun coming up with eerie terrifying beasts for you to encounter in-game, but we’re also close to Lucy’s final design!

We have our minds set on the game’s mechanics, such as:

  • Astral projection, Lucy can leap out of her body and into the spirit world to unlock places for her in the living world, as well as solve puzzles.

  • The monsters can find you if you use the same hiding place twice, so be inventive! Find new ways to distract and survive the beasts!

  • Lucy keeps a record of all the monsters she meets in her journal, use that to figure out their patterns and figure out new ways to avoid them!

  • Ambiance and sound will be of heavy use in the game, so we recommend to play it in the dark with headphones on for the full experience.

  • Lucy’s hair will turn red when she leaps into the spirit world.
