Recently a new version of Jet Warrior (I really need to think of an actual name for this project) hit indie arcades here at Game Jolt as well as over at Itch. One of the major new additions was a much improved bomb with a number of really fun new mechanics including the ability for bombs to stick into objects and spark when they collide with asteroids. The development or at least the initial implementation of these new features was recorded on my YouTube channel World of Zero. You can watch as these features and design decisions are made.
A number of other fun improvements are on the way and will be shared in similar videos. Stay tuned, stay calm and enjoy the flight. If at any time bombs are deployed during the flight, calmly fly away and watch from a safe distance. At no point should you play exuberantly with the explosive devices! Doing so may result in terminal cases of “A Really Good Time”. Ignore at your own risk.
