Well this is embarrassing. I decide to increase the scope, and then ghost the project.
Well simply put, I couldn't get a team together to work on the game, cause wouldn't you know it, everyone was busy doing their work.
Anyways, development has resumed again. I'll probably end up needing to take a 3 week break soon tho, since I have to write a program as my final exam in Java °_°
Now then, I've decided to return somewhat to the original scope, for now at least.
My goal right now is basically to get the game roughly to where development on "Pikmin Garden" ceased development.
This basically just means 3 types of Zenand, ways for them to reproduce, materials, and a crafting system.
Custom Zenand is definitely also something I want to implement, and currently, the Zenand code is being built around being able to do that, which will also make development of them a lot easier.
I'm not sure if the first public build will include customizable Zenand, however it'll definitely include a special Zenand made using a similar system to what the custom Zenand will use.
In terms of progress updates, I've finally gotten Discord Rich Presence to work! So your friends can see that you're playing the game.
Currently, it's very basic, since the game only has a test level, so there's not really much to use it for yet, and I'm mainly focusing on the Zenand now, since all the rich presence code will just be occasional function calls.
