Development Log #8


Hello!

In this installment of Development Log, we’ll briefly look at what’s been changed since the last time.

  • Hitboxes are now corrected further than before.
    This means that you can no longer stand on top of someone and somehow kill them.

  • Audio is being added, so you can hear that bloody stab at a staggering 8-bit quality.
    And a soundtrack will be added eventually.

  • A new weapon has been added!

  • A new map is in the works.
    Yes holy shit a new map, which will also be randomly picked upon game start. This bad boy will feature a more urban environment, with fire hydrants, bus stops that are destructible and worried onlookers that probably would love to witness the stabbing of an orange guy. Not the TTD orange guy though. He’s too cute for that.

  • A critical hit function (headshot) is getting implemented piece by piece. This will allow any projectile weapon to do 50% more damage. And no, it will not be a one hit kill. That’s dumb.

  • And finally, lots and lots of bugfixes.
