Hello everyone, today I'm going to talk about Project Fears development. Ignore the game testers needed because I'm back at square one I'm still developing the game and chances are it might get canceled again. This is due to Project Fear's difficulty and I'm not talking about the entire game it is the gameplay itself and the story.
My problems with the gameplay:
The game mechanics are great however, it can be highly unfair regarding sound cues.
The tasks take way too long and sometimes can be way too short, and sometimes once you finish all of your tasks the game doesn't end.
My problems with the story:
I was partly lying when I said the story was just too difficult.
All though one that makes it difficult is to explain the character's backstory. If I made the backstory of the character just them needing money or having some sort of history. Both are boring and cliches except for the history part but you may say won't you just do that? You do realize it's hard to make a good explanation of why the character was even willing to go back.
However, I will end it here it may seem unreasonable but it's just I'm kinda of a perfectionist so that's all I have for now.
