Hello everyone.

Now, to get the main elephant out of the room regarding my health status, doctors are not sure what is going on, but they think it’s an infection of my testicles but I’m not sure if there right about it. BUT, they still need to rule other stuff out. Ultimately, they are not sure. The tests have been coming in, and the ones I have received are good.

I have also resumed development of ELLIE’S. The March 7th release date is not possible as this game cannot be rushed. There is a bunch of pressure I’ve put on myself to make sure this game is perfect. The issue with my older games is that I would come up with these ideas that sounded cool, but really didn’t test them out until it was too late and I had to ship what I had.

Since I joined a game design school during TFRC’s development, I’ve learned a great amount about game design and I’ve put those skills into this game. When I developed my older games, I would isolate myself to people that liked me so I never really got ‘real criticism’.

With the older games, for the stories, I would always think out of these ‘big epics’ in my head, but when put into execution, it was terrible and really cringe-worthy. With this game, I reached out for help to my old high school English teachers on designing a not edgy/non cringy, down to earth story that has had a year of refinement. The backstory is kinda like FNAF1’s, but the main story that the game presents is original, and I am determined to have this story be an amazing one for this game.

On top of that, I find so much wrong with FR1 to FR7’s story. The plotlines are stupid and edgy, and it hurts me when I think about them because it’s so bad. I feel like the only way to fix it is to retcon everything and make a brand new story from scratch that doesn’t have stupid plotlines and edge. As I said before, I am determined to have a very good story.

This is different with this game. I have been actively asking for feedback ever since I started the project one year ago in a Discord server I created with over 20 people that actively voice their opinion on decisions I make. They have drastically helped the game and have been strong with me on it.

Now for my plans with Sea Shift 2. I left that game up after I canned and retconned all of the main FR games, because I thought it was a good game with the original plan. I was going to make a non-canon reboot but with the ELLIE’S characters, but I see so many flaws with that game. Once this game comes out, Sea Shift 2 will have the same fate as the others and go away.
