Development Resumed

(pasted from WP)

The title explains it all, however, I have to explain what I am actually doing, since a devlog is supposed to tell everything, right?

I was been making some devlog videos on my Virtual YouTuber channel, and this playlist includes a prologue video and the first episode. I’ll release the demo on the second episode. They’re all in portuguese, but I think you can auto-translate them to English, I guess?

By the way, I’ve switched game engines and it looks like the development is a little bit faster. I am now using Godot 4.0.

I am also posting frequent updates on my Ko-Fi, some paid, some free, depending of how much they show about the game.

And that’s pretty much it. I plan releasing the first version of the demo this month on Ko-Fi. You should at least sign for the “Monster” plan in order to download it. But don’t worry, after a week, the demo will be free to play for everyone on GameJolt and itch.io!

See you next time.

Yes, we're not over, actually, we're just getting started. Are you ready?

Favorite LGBT videogame character? Well, the entire Butterfly Soup main cast #PrideJolt

First Actual Devlog

While I can't work on Dotspaces yet, I'll be working on this game instead. I don't know when the demo will be finished, but I think by the end of the year.

2nd Devlog

Enemies can also suddenly spawn through Realm Rifts. These Rift Spawns are going to be stronger than the ones wandering around. TBD on the enemies... #screenshotsaturday #godstear #madewithunity

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Rockin the Guitar, an Axe like Guitar I made for my Uni project

Spaaaace~

These are background sprites I've created for a game I'm working on at school ^w^ Click on the post to see how the sprites connect. You won't regret it! (personally, I think it's pretty heheh)

Drawn in Piskel using my mouse. Whaddya think?
