I suppose it’s time for another one of these update devlogs.
Progress is going very well thus far, although we’re slightly behind our schedule.
-The soundtrack is being produced at a quick and steady rate.
-Areas/Levels are being worked on at a decent pace.
-Lots of cutscenes are being worked on.
However we’re not quite at the point where we expected to be by now. We clearly won’t rush this game, as we value quality over getting a game out asap as a broken mess. You’ll just have to be patient, it seems.
This does not mean that the game is being “delayed” as the given late autumn time span still stands. November (or December) are just more likely contenders as of now.
There’s nothing I want to tease or that feels worth teasing currently, so you will have to wait quite a while for the next one. Who knows, the next teaser might actually be the teaser trailer. We’ll see.
PS: One important fact I have forgotten to mention last time is the fact that SFNaF2 is not a direct sequel to SFNaF1. It’s more akin to another installment in a series. This game features its’ own unique spin on the SL story, does not try to represent the actual story 1 to 1 and does not take the happenings of the first game into account, as it pretty much covered the entire FNaF series and limited the room for further story-telling.
