After one month of absolute radio silence and two months since the last devlog was posted, I suppose it’s about time to update you on the current state of the game.
The game’s been on a hiatus for the past month as I’ve been severely stressed out from trying to finish the game in time for autumn and urgently needed a break.
You might have noticed that the most recent teaser trailer didn’t include a release window/date as I’ve already realized at that point that I couldn’t get the full game done in time for this year. SFNaF 2 will release sometime next year, whenever it is done and on the level of quality I want.
This does not meant that the game’s progress has been in an absolute standstill.
The soundtrack has nearly reached completion and a lot of previously flawed concepts have been revamped for a more cohesive gameplay and storytelling experience.
Progress is already starting up again. Not much else to say.
tl;dr: The game’s development has been on hiatus. The game’s release has been moved to 2018.
