Development Update #3

I’m still here!

I’m currently focusing heavily on getting the second level done. The only things missing are some minor detail improvements to the maps, optimization, voice acting, one animatronic AI and an ending.

Meanwhile, the third level is far from complete. A playable map concept is all that’s currently made, with optimization being the largest issue.

The first level (Miles Ahead) has received minor improvements, some changes and one bug fix. This level is my lowest priority, although new content will be added, specifically a new & more unique way of escaping.

The main menu has received a complete overhaul in order to work better with the newly introduced level format.

Extra info
The second level is the one that will take place in (not only) a sewer. This will be very different from the first, taking a more linear story-based approach. It will also be quite short, much shorter than any other level.

The third level is the one that will take place in the teased restaurant. It is the longest level and consists of several weeks (the equivalent of FNaF’s nights). Every week is a different scenario - new threats and changes to the map, as well as more tasks to complete. It will have the most varying mechanics, with each animatronic truly being completely different from one another. This is also the level that puts back the Fredbear into The Fredbear Archives, shifting focus from the Rockstar animatronics to the original mascots.

I was originally going to post a teaser, but I figured posting any more would be too much of a spoiler. Instead of those, expect to have more development updates.

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.

A few screenshots of the places you'll cross in the Demo of Blu. You can play it today on #gamejolt !

Out of boredom and curiosity, I coded Sailor Jupiter's Argentine Backbreaker.

Here's a Fredbear sprite i made in Aseprite! I'm pretty proud of this!
