First, just want to apologize for missing the deadline of the end of March and for being too quiet on development progress. Everything is still progressing toward a big release. Probably shouldn’t made the deadline so soon from getting back from vacation :) As things stand now, I think it will be another week or so before the release is ready. I’d like to get one more skirmish map in there before really getting into testing. Below is a brief overview of what’s coming with this update:
A paid, early access version of the full game. Probably something along the lines of a low or name your own price sort of thing. This will include:
A new story chapter not found in the demo (w/ 2 more on the way)
More robust skirmish options
Multiple skirmish maps
An updated demo that will remove skirmish customization and only provide skirmish on a single map with randomly selected units. This will include all the bug fixes and general improvements of the full game.
Overall Improvements
Difficulty selection for story mode
New action animations for (most) unit abilities. Still working on magic effects.
New skirmish menu
New skirmish units
New ability effect: prevent movement
New ability effects: create flying bomb, wall, and barrier.
Improved lighting
Too many bug fixes to list
Currently working on implementing a dark level for skirmish, then I’ll be moving onto cleaning everything up for release, and then finally testing. Stay tuned and thanks for your support!
