The time has reached the middle of summer, and the game progress has also reached a milestone —
Basic Kernel completed
Finally, after over a year, I have completed “SDK” for my D&D system in RM, but I just merely completed it though, the actual skills, in my plan, will be implemented after the next release, known as Demo v2.
It’s shame that the kernel is just bunch of codes so no image I can post here, but you can view them in my github repo if you want.
Despite the kernel took me most of the time to build, but there are still a few things added!
Game mode selection
In the next release, you’ll formally step into the main story, meanwhile, the tutorial in the last release will add more guides to the core features. Therefore you can choose what you want to play first, and the save files are separated between different modes, so you don’t have to worry about messing them up.

Dual Class
Yes, just like you played in D&D, the dual-class feature is available!
But beware: the level cap is 20 in the early stage, so once you dual-classed, you can’t advance your main class to the full level! (epic level and beyond not included)

Other changes
Even too many to list them all, if you insist too read them, see my commit history should help:

So, when is the next release?
Well, I can’t tell at this moment, since there’s no artist in my team currently so I gotta do the mapping, sprites etc. on my own, and that will surely take time to be done.
Please continue following the devlog here, and see how’s the progress go so far, thanks for reading!
