Development Update

Today, we're excited to share four key updates regarding the development of our project:

  1. Enhanced Visuals: We've implemented a brand-new background and dynamic background effects that will be featured during specific attacks, adding a fresh layer of visual engagement.

  2. New Gaster Blaster Functionality: We're pleased to announce the successful integration of both orange and blue Gaster Blasters. Their functionality is now complete, as demonstrated in the accompanying visual.

  3. Healing attack (Part 1 of 2): To increase the game's difficulty and introduce a unique strategic element, players will no longer be able to heal passively. Progression will require successfully navigating a dedicated healing attack sequence.

  4. Introducing a new Attack Type (Healing attack part 2 of 2): Prepare for a new attack! Flowers will descend from above, subsequently exploding into damaging flower petals. Both the initial flowers and the resulting petals, along with the explosion itself, will inflict damage.

That concludes our feature showcase for this update. Now, let's move on to some important information about the game's development. We also invite you to listen to the new track for Phase 1, "Judgment and Determination," composed by yours truly.

Our current goal is to implement a total of 30 distinct attacks, including the grand finale. Upon initial release, the game will feature the complete first phase of the encounter. We recognize the anticipation for a playable experience and are committed to delivering this initial phase to you as soon as possible.

The coding for all the showcased attacks has been expertly handled by our talented collaborator, @heckerhecker_b7ca (we encourage you to explore the Undertale engine he has developed and shared). The potential temporary Chara sprite was created by NaderX2.

Please note that the final designs for the Chara and Sans sprites are still under consideration.

so its been awhile school hasn't allowed time to code but I got this done now

I forgot to make a phase 2b intro so here it is and I got a new coder https://scratch.mit.edu/users/kittenkat11_/ he only uses scratch

OK LONG VIDEO TODAY but now the dialog for phase 1 intro is done thanks to @IHateTomatoes4 they are a big help in the making of this game
