The progress made
Well, it's no surprise that Fredbear's: Do not close your eyes is back in development, and I've been super busy moving the game forward to be able to show you and also get as far along in development as we can, so I'll tell you a little about what we've got going on.
World building
The world in which the game is set has already been fully constructed, in terms of writing, with disappearances and fairly simple and straightforward events surrounding the young restaurant in Fredbear's Fantasy Arcade. This entire story aims to be as self-contained and ambiguous as possible, in order to engage you all with the new story we want to tell, unrelated to the original FNAF lore. This is a young, emerging universe established for this experience.
Building scenarios and models
The pizzeria is built entirely from a scale model of a Chuck E. Cheese restaurant near where I live. The lighting has been constantly adjusted to achieve the best possible result throughout development.
The animatronics underwent some minor design changes to match the game's environment and lighting. While I personally have considered moving closer to Cawthon's style at times, I feel we really need to deliver something of decent quality and close to reality in terms of scenery and lighting, despite the fantasy premise.
The general state of the game
The musical composition is in progress, aiming for a dark and lively sound aesthetic. The graphics are still being fine-tuned overall to achieve a successful outcome and build suspense for players.
The game's event structure and overall story are written and awaiting consensus. The game, in general, is laying the groundwork for continued development and delivering a decent experience for all of you. I hope you support us and show interest in the project again!
See you soon :)!
