Devlog (1/25/2026): Testing Parries

You've read the title right, I worked on parries today. I spent... I don't even know how long trying to get these to work.

They mostly work now, but there's some issues I have to figure out.

When you parry, the Fighter that parries is supposed to recieve incoming attacks for a turn (to try and also make stuff like perfect parries actually worth it, 50-75 TP is a lot to use on one skill) but as you see in the video, sometimes that doesn't work. I might make it purposefully have an increased chance to target you for the first level of a parry but have it cost no TP.

But yeah! Lemme hear your thoughts on this.

(Also, this is my first time using Realms, so please be kind if you're reading this on those realms! I am a small indie dev with a small team and a dream of making games for people to enjoy :])

Every RPG has a forest, right?

Made a new OC for the game, what do I name her? The names on the right were names I thought of. Does anyone have other ideas? Or like a name on the list?

Updated the game page to show RPG Maker MV instead of 2003. Also, trying out spells. Thoughts?

Woah? Some gameplay for Fox Fighters?

Currently it’s just a bit of a walking simulator (and a short one at that) but I hope to eventually change that :P

Also, on another note… might redo the main theme. I just… don’t really like it now.

Decided to do some world building stuff today! Will probably do more in a bit.

Testing out random variables and events with conditional flags!

The first inn is done! Mostly. Probably needs a track and some more stuff, but that’s done. Now I gotta do… everything else in the first town.

I also realized that if I’m bored, I can add random stuff because why not! As you might see.

Hi everyone! Decided to redo the battle song for my game. How does it sound? What feedback do you have for me? :)

Concept title made by Chomper

Hi all! Development’s been a little slow (especially because I have been really busy) but I decided to remake the battle win theme from scratch.

Made in BeepBox :)

What do you all think?
