Five Nights at Freddy's 4: Ultra Custom Night

Devlog #1. (Fr this time)


Over the past few months I've been working on many things to make the game look as fresh as possible, and I'd figure that I'd share my progress with you.

  • AI customization - When you hold down left click on an animatronic, every 0.08 seconds, 1 is added to their AI level, and holding right click subtracts 1 from their AI level every 0.08 seconds. You can also scroll up and down with the mouse wheel to change their AI level. Also, left clicking on an animatronic while Shift is pressed instantly sets that animatronic's AI to 20, and doing the opposite sets it to 0. Middle clicking on an animatronic also sets an animatronic's AI to 20, and holding Shift when doing this sets the AI to 0.

  • Discord Rich Presence - When you start the game and enter the splash screen, your Discord profile will show as starting the game. When you are on the custom night menu, your status will show as on the Custom Night menu. When you start the night, the challenge that you selected will be shown. When you're in-game, the time you're at is shown. When you die, the time you were at and the animatronic that killed you is shown. Unfortunately, there's currently a few bugs with the DRPC at the moment and sometimes it just refuses to respond at times, I'm currently working to get this fixed

  • Gameplay - Not started yet

  • Polishing - In the custom night menu, the transparency of the animatronics is randomly set every 0.25 seconds. When going to or back to the menu (not including dee dee's secret characters), a fade in effect will be present. When you go into the night, the game will fade out into the 12 AM screen. I have also changed the fullscreen to make it work like the FNaC But Better fullscreen used.

i should hopefully be able to do either TGF AC or Dreamscape AC but TGF AC is absolutely terrible and Dreamscape AC is on the verge of giving me a mental breakdown
