devlog 18sept


Well today i was going to send the demo to a couple of friends for testing. but i see it needs more improvement so it become cool. i wrote algorythms for patterns of enemy waves. when my younger brother tested the game he was like damn this is so hard! and i think it is hard. so i’m gonna slow the waves. bunch of friends of instagram show some support and said i’m doing good. i like it that game maker studio is even better than gm8.1! it gives you an installer with a lot of options. another thing is that i added a new upgrade for firing speed.

Some stuff left to do is making 50 more patterns for more waves (each wave 10 patterns). and a few more gun upgrades. then the story. i haven’t wrote anything yet because i’m all codding. but so far it’s a submarine protecting it’s team from attacks!

as i said in the last devlog my skills are better now and i haven’t stuck anywhere in code yet :). by the way you know i’m open to suggestions and i will credit the name of anyone helping me in the game (testing and story) even though it be small.

Main menu doesn’t got much but a ROOKIE or HARD option for gamers. and also this time i don’t bother my self of codding and taking it easy and using ALARMS of objects and paths! they’re cool. cause you know i write my codes from the beginning!

Music used in is Negative Headphones’s “ORBIT” track which i asked them and they were so cool about it and gave me permission to do it. i’m gonna add some 8bit SFX effects for the game and i hope it will turn out to be good! make sure to follow the game and showing support and i will happily do the same specially if you are a developer.

PS: Pixel art work is all mine and i will upload my sketches of concept arts too!
