Devlog 2.5 - Engine "Change"


Welp, looks like the game's engine has changed from the outdated GameMaker 8.1 to... GameMaker Studio 1.4... (Still a bit old, but it's certainly better in some regards.)

Still have all of the progress I've made thanks to being able to import the game into the updated engine.

Hopefully this should allow me to do a few more things than I could before, and there should even be more easily accessible resources (and 8.1 was just driving me insane )

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
