Hello space vagrants,
Been living busy days at work, but finally I will be able to work on the game for a while. Feedback from you people it’s been great, and helped me discover some weak points on the gameplay that I didn’t notice. Thanks a lot!
For that reason, my goal is to upload a new version of the demo, including some new stuff:
Quick menu
This was a suggestion from a player, and couldn’t be more accurate. This new quick menu makes it much more easier to access to the main features of the game: items, radio, and thinking.
Terminals
Feedback from users made me understand two aspects:
1) Exploring Ariadna without map support drove crazy some people.
2) Not being able to save was too much, because you had to replay a lot when dying.
The solution I found was to put some terminals in the station. By using them, you can access the map or save the game. They cost energy charges, so I thought it was a good solution: you wanna play the safe mode, you’ll need to come back to the ship more oftenly.
Bug fixes
Demo was kinda buggy, specially at the end. I will solve this by playtesting more and more. Sorry guys for the inconvenience, you know there’s so much to do.New boss
In fact it’s ready, but I am working on the animation (push those pixels, you little bastard!). It will grant the player access to a new area and a big surprise.
