Hello, Its been a long time since the last post, I swear from now on I will make a monthly devlog. I haven't posted in two because I was learning godot and playing aoh2.
Well, let's start :
Reboot :
-At first this game was going to be a "reinterpretation" of the Dormitabis from 2016. But I don't have the knowledge to code an entire game like that in my own. So from now on the game will be divided in two parts: the faithful reinterpretation of the game called "Dormitabis Freeroam", and after that, my version of the game with its own maps, story, and characters called "The Darkest Pit".
Redesigns (again) :
-Since now this game is a fathful reinterpretation of the original, now I need a faithful reinterpretation of the characters. They will be like the ones of the original but better quality. Here's Freddy :
Bonnie Is almost done, I need to do the withering.
Story :
-The story will be almost the same as the original, so don't judge me if it doesn't make sense. If someone knows anything about the original story please coment it.
Characters :
-Garvey will now be molten evil, and the character that was going to be molten in my version is now removed. Also, John will be now called Samson.
Environments :
-Originally I was going to make a complete different map for each night, foer example, a house, a hospital, etc. But I don't want to go insane so now the all the maps will have the same dirty and abandoned style as the original.
Music :
-I swear I tried recreating the original soundtrack from the reuloaded main menu teaser, but I can't. Idk how to compose music.
Well, I think thats all. We reached almost 60 followers on the game, thank you so much. The next devlog will be the 20th of next month.
